Seriously though, an SSD is about the only thing worth doing on that if your not gaming imo. Maybe another 4GB of RAM, but thats not essential.

Sell the old memory (or keep as spare cos you won't get much for it) and use the 1Gb HDD as internal storage. Sorted

If you're going to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, may as well do a clean install on the SSD and go from there
