1GHz ATI Radeon HD4800
1GB HDD (75%) Free.
Creative Sound Card

I'd upgrade that!

Seriously though, an SSD is about the only thing worth doing on that if your not gaming imo. Maybe another 4GB of RAM, but thats not essential.

(As others have said) Get a 120Gb SSD and a coupla sticks of 4Gb RAM and that'll do ya.

Sell the old memory (or keep as spare cos you won't get much for it) and use the 1Gb HDD as internal storage.

Another vote for an SSD from me - use the SSD for Windows and your main apps, then the HDD to store your music, documents, etc...

If you're going to upgrade to Windows 10 for free, may as well do a clean install on the SSD and go from there
