Greetings,
I'm running the 1004 bios, which is what I've had since I built this
computer many months ago. It has never crashed, not even once. I usually
update my bios every several months, but it's been running perfectly, so
it's seems like a bad move. Since stability is obviously not a problem
for me, are there any speed advantages or new settings? What do you
think? I'm not overclocked. This is the machine:
PC Power & Cooling Turbo-Cool 510 SLI, 510-watts
Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe nForce4 SLI Audio/GB
AMD Athlon 64 FX-55 Socket 939
Swiftech MCX6400-V Heatsink
Zalman ZM-NB47J Chipset Heatsink
Enermax UC-8FAB-B(N) Heatsink Fan
1 GB DDR (2 pcs 512) PC-3200 (400) OCZ Platinum Revision 2
Two Western Digital Raptor 74GB 10,000 RPM SATA Hard Drives
BFG GeForce 6800 GT OC 256MB GDDR3/PCI-E/TV-Out/Dual-DVI
Plextor PX-716A/SW 4x-DVD+R DL 8x4x16x-DVD±RW Drive
Sony 3.5" Floppy Drive
Thanks for your input.
