Updating

WD still has the orange exclamation point in tray icon. Tried the run
solution with the file name says it needs to br verified that it is valid and
have ran a scan but nothing seems to help. Still says my definitons are 29
days old anyone else have any other possible solutions....
 
Found that by going to Windows update I was able to download and install new
definitions.

It did require installing latest validatrion tools to make this work.
 
hey guys found a solution that worked for me...went into c:\program
files\windows defender and found the AS-Sigs.MSI file and repaired it and
defender updated itself and things are COOL...thx to Bill Sanderson found
this solution in another post under defender not updating in spyware
signatures ck it out.
 
had the same problem when I installed on 2 of 3 systems. Solution for me was
to to go to microsoft windows update and then choose "Custom"--this led to
the needed updates. luck to you!
