Updating...

I've been using the MS-AntiSpyware since it was owned by GIANT and I've never
had problems with it. For this latest release though, I am unable to get the
updated version. I downloaded it through the MS website and went to install
it, I chose "upgrade" and still nothing.

Me too, smooth and easy, faster and clearer than from the official Microsoft
site, where it says you are getting the .701 and instead they are giving you
the old version, over and over again.
Will they ever learn how to be the best, why should we go somewhere else to
d/l a MS product?
It's unbelievable, innit?
 
This isn't necessary. If the user is getting a choice of whether to upgrade
or not, they are installing the wrong build.--i.e. the old one over itself.

With the correct build (cross fingers and toes and hope you hit the right
download server)--the very first prompt should ask whether you wish to
upgrade. I believe that is the only choice--i.e. upgrade, or quit.
