I have some group policys at the AD level, hooked to some ou's. We are
adding xp computers to our network, and would like to use their .adm's as
they are downlevel compatabile with 2000. How can i do this? If i go to a
already configured gpo and click administrative templates and choose the
new .adm it does nothing.
Can someone point me to a guide on how to do this.
Thanks

just copy the ADM templates from an XP or 2003 box to the 2000 DCs and then
it will work.

Thanks for the help. Copy them to the winnt\inf folder?
I am trying to get the "always wait for the network" logon gp but it does
not show up in the domain gp adms, only locally on a xp workstation.

Copy the .adm files to the winnt\inf folder on the dc, then using that dc
you have to click on the computer or user settings for it to update.
sometimes you have to do that manually. or so I did.
Thanks!

Yeah, copy to the winnt/inf folder. You could also update using an XP box,
which will automatically update the DCs.
