Updating to IE 7

I recently re-installed Windows XP. Before I did so I had updated to IE 7,
however now I'm back to Version 5.1 Service Pack 1. So far I have not been
able to return to IE 7 via Windows update. Can anyone help me?

Install SP2...
Install the post-sp2 updates...
Install IE7...
