Continually fail to get updates for AntiSpyWare. Is there
an issue with not having a broadband connection?

Hi

Not any wellknown problem and file size for download is about 3MB, so
with a
good dialup it takes some time, 4 kb/s = 240 kb/minute, so 10 to 15
minutes it takes.

It doesn't even get started...within a few seconds it
says something to the effect that there isn't a network
connection. Too bad there wasn't a web link to manually
download the updates.....

There is a bug with network connections with no workaround but
check this:
IE in online mode and dial up connection established before you tries
to update ?
Then menu file - check for updates within MSAS.

You can also get these files from some friend/other pc at work etc,
just
copy and burn these 3 files from an updated PC (or use a memorystick,
new cellphones are perfect with built in memorystick.)

Program files / Microsoft Antispyware.
