Updating Outlook from OE .wab Files

Ok I cleaned out all the deadwood e-mail addresses from my Outlook Express address book. How do I update the records I already have in Outlook 2002?
Do I just import the .wab file and Outlook will ask me if I want to save the changes?
Naw, It couldn't be that easy.
Just thought I'd ask the experts first.

You cannot import a WAB directly. You can import your Internet Addresses
from OE to bring in any new Contacts you added, but it will not synchronize
the 2.
