I just purchased a new Dell laptop that was configured with the basics. I loaded MS Office XP onto it, and when I initially opened Outlook, I received a prompt asking if I wished to update it from Outlook Express. I wasn't sure, so I cancelled the action, then removed the MS Office XP from the computer and reloaded it. The prompt didn't appear again. Is there a way to switch all my Outlook Express info over to the new Outlook I've loaded?

You should be able to pull everything over to Outlook, Just go to
FILE-->IMPORT and you have the choice of email settings or both email
settings and messages (last option). I do not know a why to import blocked
Senders or rules and also, Outlook Express still remains as the newsreader
since Outlook does not do that function.

Actually, it's better to use OE to export messages to Outlook, since doing
so preserves the sent date. Importing them with OL changes the sent date to
the import date.
