Updating linked tables

I want to update the location of a linked table but there doesn't seem to be
an option to do so. The "linked table manager" as I understand it needs a
SQL server to be sitting under the db. Is there any way to update the link
if the source db has moved?

I should add that this is in Access 2000 so might be slightly different to
other versions, I can see lots of help for Access 2003 but in 2000 there
doesn't seem to be any options to view the links.

Not sure what you mean... Just go to Tools | Database Options | Linked Table
Manager, and use the wizard. Be sure to select the checkbox at bottom of
window "Always prompt for location of ....".

Thanks, was in database utilities in 2000, used to using 2003 so couldn't
find it. Under help file it says it needs to be added in using the add-in
manager and there were no add-ins visible, anyway problem solved, thanks for
your time.

You're correct... Database Utilties, not Database Options. I shouldn't rely
on memory for such things....
