Dear Sir/ Madame,
I have an access application working with linked tables on an sql server.
For security reasons I was asked to change the password on the sql server
for the user the link is taking place with. I changed also the password on
the odbc properties on the local PC. I tried with the link manager to refresh
the links, the connection failed, it asked me for the new password, I typed
it in but the connection still failed.
we are using windows 2000, access 2000, sp1.
Any suggestions please, do I have to setup the password somewhere else ?
One think I did not try is to delete the odbc profile and recreate it, would
that work ?
Philip
