I have several distribution lists in my contact list. My contact list had
been corrupted a while back and I am now using a restored contact lists from
a backup (all of this is in public folders on an Exchange server). The old,
obsolete contact list has been moved to another folder in my Exchange server
and the newer, currently maintained contact list is in the public folder
where the contact list has always traditionally been. However, now when I
open the contacts in my current distribution lists, it opens the records from
the old contact list. It is as if my distribution lists are pointing to the
wrong contact lists to do the update. This is no good. Short of
reconstructing every one of my distribution lists (a big project to be sure)
what can I do to make the distribution lists look in my current contact list
instead of my old contact list for updating email addresses?
