updating calendars in two unconnected computers

My apologies to the group if this question has been answered many times
before, but I searched the available messages and couldn't find this
question.

I use MS Outlook on both my work and home computers, and I've been entering
my appointments twice in each calendar, since they're not on the same
network. This is of course tedious and time-consuming.

I have tried using the Export and Import commands to create a transfer file,
but the problem is that Outlook duplicates existing appointments when I
import the file from the other computer, even when I select the "Replace
duplicates with items imported" option. Using the Export and Import
commands also requires navigation through several dialog boxes every time
you do it.

Does Outlook provide a more convenient way to transfer new appointments
between two unconnected computers? If not, can anyone tell me why it keeps
making duplicate appointments after I've selected the "Replace duplicates .
.. . " option?

Thanks in advance,

Paul
