Updating and Adding Records via a Query

I am using Access 2000.
My scenario involves:
A form intended to make updates (modifications and add records) to
Table 1.
I WANTED to display data from 3 tables on the form although I am
updating only Table 1 with this form.
Table 1 has a 'many-to-one' relationship with Table 2.
Table 2 has a 'many-to-one' relationship with Table 3.

I have been unable to 'add' records to Table 1 as long as I have data
from Table 3 involved in the query!

Is there a way around this?
Will a later version of Access help?

Sure: use Forms with Subforms (Form for the "one" side, subform for
the "many").
Will a later version of Access help?

Won't make any difference, to my knowledge.

John,

Thanks!
The subform approach seems to work! ... never used it before ... and
I don' t think I would have ever thought of trying that approach.
