Does anyone have instructions which depict how to save XP
PRO " Downloaded Update Files ", ( critical security et
all ), such that they can be burned to a CD, and therefore
not require a 2 hour modem download session every time I
have to reinstall XP PRO because of some hacker, virus,
worm, addware, spyware, or some other new malware problem ?

Your timely response is greatly appreciated, I have
already had to reformat and reinstall XP at more than 6
times on each of my 2 puters because of the insecurity of
XP.

Download the SP2 update. This has all of the updates up to this point
included.
