What is the difference between the Updates, which we are offered to download
and the choice which we download is ours and the Automatic Updates, which we
are not told what they are about?

Why are we not given a choice with the latter?

Hello!
Automatic updates are very much integral part of the
Windows xp.In manual setting of updates you choose the
uodates which you are going to install.
But in automatic updates all the updates are selected
automatically and got downloaded.You can't choose as it is
automatic so we can't individually select updates here.
