DirectX 9.0b End-User Runtime and Update for Jet 4.0
Service Pack 8 (KB829558)

My computer is fully up to date except for these two. Do
I need these. I'm play online games alot. Would this
affect or hurt my game performance? or should it just be
a must be installed!

It is recommended that you go ahead and download both of them. directX 9
will be required for more games out later this year.
