Updates that I don't want to install

I downloaded by mistake an update dor office that is not suitable for my xp.
The computer Keeps on trying to install it and I have to cancel the
instillation. Is there any way to remove the update without installing it

Either by running the System Restore to before the Mistakos happened.
Or by going to Add/Remove Programs, then check the Check box on the
Top-Right hand corner to:
[ ] Show updates and remove that updates then run disk clean up and
Reboot your machine, does this help?.
 
I think you've done ot for me. Disk clean up is what I needed!! Thanks a
million.

Sorry spoke to soon. It still keeps on wanting to install itself. Any other
tips?

Open windows Explorer and navigate to this path:
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads = Delete all the contents in the
right Pane/Window by Selecting all and press SHIFT + DEL.

Or you can download this tool and locate the setup.exe for this app and
remove:
