I have a Dell 830 laptop with Vita Ultimate that is ~45 days old. I have
continually seen the last set of updates repeatedly show up as needed when I
go to shut down. These updates show successfully completed on prior dates in
my update history, but Vista still wants to install the updates. It has been
succeddful on the 8-10th time, however this last update (Windows DreamScene)
is still showing up after being "successfully" installed 16 times since
2/3/08.
Any suggestions on getting rid of the annoying continual application of
updates? They have always worked well with the XP machines I have, but my
first venture with Vista has been very underwhelming.
