Hi.

Got a "Warning could not connect to the internet" error so tried known
issues with IE or outlook in offline mode. No luck! Checked all other
internet software and was fine.

Could see request being logged on firewall (Agnitum outpost (nice freebie))
so used Visual route to trace to www.spynet.com. It reports that server is
unavailable - actually it says connections to port 80 are being refused at a
previous hop (192.205.32.198)

In the next version the software might be more descriptive about the
problem. Cannot connect to network is my problem and I just spent 30 minutes
trying to sort it out. "Server down" is someone elses problem and is probably
a hint that I should stop worrying about spyware and go for a walk and relax
while it has stopped raining outside.

See many replies to third and fourth threads below this one - many people are
having his problem today - Microsoft has a problem evidently. Just wait,
hopefully someone will wake up and fix it.

I just switched from XP Pro to Home last night... Thought it may have been
some incompatibility issue. Come on Microsoft...

Hi:

It sure would be helpful if Microsoft would advise on its Anti-Spyware
homepage when they are going to be down for extended periods of time and the
estimated date of resolution.

Sure would save a lot of time and effort for everyone.

YES! Thanks ColTom for hitting the nail on the head. Read various posts
indicating that a lot of people spent some time and trouble to try to fix the
problem on their system. MS could have spared all that trouble with a simple
advisory that the server is down -or whatever the prob is. it's silly having
to find out about this from a discussion group

Ditto. And, since I am having trouble with my DLink wireless, assumed it was
my problem.

BTW - anyone know what ihizejkr.exe is? Mysteriously appeared as hidden
process. Is it part of this MS anti-spyware? can find no reference on web.
Shows as coming from \windows\ihizejkr.exe, but, no such file.

It Appears that the same problem is here again, (yesterday and again today)
"Warning could not connect to the internet" unless its just me! Anyone else
experiencing this?

Regards Chris.
