Updates not working.

I have noticed that my updates are not working when I hover over the tab it
says cannot get updates and when I try to open the update it just flashes as
if it is about to open but then it goes away. I have noticed that this also
happens with some of the other programs like the calendar and my sidebar is
no longer showing up either but the computer and all the other programs seem
to be running fine. Anyone have any ideas

Which updates are those? Windows Update? Or Office Update? Norton
updates? What tab do you hover over?

Have you scanned for malware? Recently?
