Windows XP Home SP2. Everytime I start, I get the message: "Your computer may
be at risk. Automatic updates are not turned on". I have to start them
manually.

I have tried running "services.msc" (turning on automatic) and "regsvr32.exe
wuaueng.dll" - no use! The problem continues. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi,

If you start the "Automatic Updates" applet found in the Control Panel,
is it set to "Automatic" there?
