Updated sound drivers and no sound

HI,

I have just installed the latest beta drivers from creatives website, and know I don't have any sound at all, coming through the speakers. The speakers are plugged in to the correct port but windows says that there is no speakers plugged in. The sound volume is up to 100% and still nothing, the sound card I have is a Creative Extreme Gamer Edtion,

Any ideas,

Roll back the drivers and don't use Beta drivers...
 
Lol, creative BETA's? Your brave young padawan. :D

I use Nvidia Betas all the time, but i wouldn't go near creatives offerings.....

I am never going to use a Creative beta driver again, lol. On the other hand like you I use Nvidia betas all the time as well and never had a problem. But I will not be downloading another Beta driver from creatives web site.
