Unique text editor that has sticky search bar, making it great for keeping
scribble notes, scraps, and simple lists.

Now has a customizable "character" filter for ridding your text files of
those pesky high bit ASCII characters. This is a nice feature, and well
implemented. I tried this filter by opening an infested TXT file, setting it
to delete all ASCII characters above 126, and it worked like a charm! :)

No install. Runs with just the language file and the EXE. Uses an INI file
to store settings.

Truly a program for the text editor connoisseur!

Bob, I used Firefox, then enabled Javascript, then went to IE/My IE 2, in each
case, I see the page, click on the download link, nothing happens.

Comment?

I like the multiple undo, wish more programs had it. The Find seems kind of clumsy
compared to Edxor.

Hi Mike,

Did you try the sticky find/replace bar? It makes searching and replacing
the easiest I have ever seen.

I like Edxor too. It's in my top 5 of favorite text editors.

Bob, I'm not in the program right now of course, is the "sticky" in the program,
and where? Didn't notice any real help file.

Just turn on the Find/Replace tool bar and it stays put until you turn it
off... even when closing and re-opening BDV Notepad. That may be a unique
feature. I've never seen it before.
