My system did a automatic update thing from MS a couple of days ago and since
then I have been having mail problems with my yahoo account. I have checked
the account info and all seems to be correct.

Now I seem to be receiving mail but I got this message when trying to sent.

The message could not be sent because the server rejected the sender's
e-mail address. The sender's e-mail address was '(e-mail address removed)'.
Subject 'Re: Route Plan for Tuesday - sort of like a flight plan in case
something happens', Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server:
'plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '530
authentication required - for help go to
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/pop-11.html', Port: 587, Secure(SSL):
No, Server Error: 530, Error Number: 0x800CCC78

Thanks.

Roady,

Thanks for the reply.

Verify has been enabled.

I am able to receive mail but can not send.

I have gone through the process of recreating the account and re-entered all
of the information but it still will not recognize me. This process

Now when I do the "Send/Recv" thing to try and send the message, I also get
this error:

The host 'plus.mail.yahoo.com' could not be found. Please verify that you
have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'plus.mail.yahoo.com',
Server: 'plus.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Socket Error: 11004, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D

Thanks,
Jim(frustrated)

Correct as you're using the wrong server name;
POP3: plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
SMTP: plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
