I have a new installation ahead because of a change to a
bigger HD. New installation of Windows will be without
all updates and service packs. Ho do I transferr all the
updates from old to new without downloading all again on
a 56K modem. How can I preserve all servicepacks and
updates
Best regards
Marcus

Connect your newer, bigger drive to your computer. Use a
disk duplication program, like Symantec's Ghost or
PowerQuest Drive Image to "ghost" your old small drive to
the new one. Then replace your old drive with the new one.
This wll give you your entire set up, just the way it is
now, only on the larger drive. Don't forget to back up
anything you can't afford to lose.

Good luck!

Go to Your NEW HARD DRIVE manufactures website and DOWNLOAD the utility
That Sets up your Hard Drive then it gives you the opertunity To Copy
all the files to the NEW hard Drive..

Follow the directions on the website for hooking up both Drives...
I had no problem when I used Maxtor;s utility for this...

There is No reason for you to BUY GHOST or any other third party software!!!
