I made my movie using the 5.1 version and am having problems getting my
finished movie to load. Should I update? I dont get why I can load the one I
was working on a couple of days ago but cant load the finished one (I changed
the file name)

5.1 is your Windows version. Look lower
and you will see your Movie Maker version
is 2.1.

Load where?

Update what?

Are you referring to a .mswmm project file
or a finished .wmv or .avi movie file?

Oops I guess its the 2.1 I have had no problems with my project. When I had
finished it all up yesterday I tried to save it so I could burn it to dvd,
and that is when it started with the errors so I thought I would try today
and the project wont even load now without the error. I can open my other
projects but just not my finished one!

Along with what others say rename the project file/s back to the original
name/s and see if that helps.
