Update to x.614 already available?

Hallo!

Even if I'm still running x.509 the updater says, there'S no new release
available. Has anybody done the update WITHOUT installing the EXE from
MS homepage?

I have seen reliable reports of automatic updates, and have seen a prompt
for one, myself, but it was on a seldom-checked server, and by the time I
clicked on it, it did nothing.

So--I believe that automatic updating is happening, but don't have any clear
picture of the pace, and can't claim to have done it on any machine I
administer.
 
It's odd. One of my machine recieved an update notice
and successfully updated the software, while the other
did not recieve and update and a update request says none
is available. I went to the MS site and other than a
blurb that updates were automatic, i don't see a
reference to be able to download the update. Anyone got
a link?
