update to IE6 and SP4

hello!

i made an update to w2k SP4 and IE 6 SP1

later i could not reach our local workgroup.
i also got a problem with web-browsing, only some sites are
reacheable, others do not load full.

ping is okay, dns also.
does anybody know, where my problem is?

now i have reinstalled my old image without sp4 - no problem.
IE6 SP1 also make no troubles.
my nic ( 3COM 3C905C-TX-M ) seems to have a problem.
only 10 Mb Half Dublex works, but slow (<1MB/sec).

so SP4 with my nic makes troubles. any ideas ?
( last driver is installed)
