Hi,
It is posible to change my actual bios version (witch is the last) for an
older version without problems.
Becouse i have some boot troubles after the bios update, my AGp video card
is not working anymore. I had to take the video card off and start using the
integrated video card of the mother board i order to work fine.

Thanks.

If you are referring to motherboard Bios - then the answer is yes. You can
load an older bios version

Thanks for the answer.
I also have a doubt about doing this, becouse my mother board has
HyperThreading capabilies and i have a 2.8 Ghz P4 processor and i wonder if
flashing an older bios version could make the HT not to work anymore, or may
be the older version has no suport for my processor, in that case,
Could the flashing of the older version could make the entire machine not to
work att all?

My mother Board is an Asus P4R800-VM.

Thanks a lot for your time.

If you mess up a flash, you can make a mess of the motherboard. Which is why
you should take normal precautions, like not doing it during a thunderstorm
when you might lose power, and being plugged into a UPS, just in case.

If you simply flash back to the original version you had, you should be fine
as far as your processor -- if it worked before, it should work now. If
you're looking to go even older than that, you can look up what changes have
been made in the consequent updates, and see if there is anything there that
you need for your system.

Before doing anything, I would check that the bios settings
are the same as those before the bios was updated. Flashing
the bios reverts it to the published default settings, such
as re-enabling the onboard video, for instance. Similarly,
HT is enabled, by default.

If problems persist and this updated bios revision is not a
beta version, then visit the Asus newsgroups and forums for
more information. As a last resort, re-flash to an earlier
bios version that is known to be working. But remember that
any re-flashed bios starts off with its defaults enabled.
