This Beta gave me *big* problems, both times I tried to install it on XP
Home.

Each installation appeared to go correctly and terminate normally, but when
run, although the program opened, nothing after that worked. Nothing at
all. No version number and date was displayed, and it couldn't be shut down
except via the Task Manager. There appeared to be no way of uninstalling it
either, only 1.3 was shown for this. It was necessary to uninstall that to
remove 1.4beta before I could reinstall 1.3, which is back to normal.

A very tedious business restoring all your settings twice, not to mention
the reboots.

Still, it is a Beta, and I've not normally experienced much trouble with
them, despite using Spybot S & D since its earliest days, so not a
complaint, just a suggestion to be wary.

Maybe I was just unlucky.
