update software needed

Hi all
Does anyone know any software that can check Microsoft windows and microsoft
office for missing products and updates and deploy it as well.
Currently we are using shavlik but its too expensive. We are looking for the
alternatives.

If your systems are using Office XP or later, and Windows 2000 SP4 or
later, you many want to check this:

If you have several computers, and they are linked on a local network
running Windows Server, you may want to explore using the newly released
MSUS package:
