Is this a known problem? One of the first things I do to new
Windows-based PCs, in this case a Vista x86_64 notebook, is set Update
to "notify only" when updates are available for download because I
don't like coming back to the machine to find it has rebooted itself
in the middle of a session.
Sometime since the last update, this notebook's update settings
reverted to "automatic" download, install, and reboot. Is MS doing the
resetting via its update mechanism or is this loss of
customer-specified update settings a known problem?
