update screen as you scroll

Here's my problem: I'm using Excel 2000 and I've been trying to figur
out why the screen will not update as I scroll by clicking and holdin
the vertical scroll bar (NOT the wheel scroll). The screen basicall
remains frozen until I release the scroll bar. The only thing tha
tells me what row I'm on is a little yellow popup label that changes a
I scroll up or down.

Does anyone know how to change this so that I can see my dat
constantly as I scroll

I bet you've used xl2002 (or xl2003)????

That feature was added in xl2002.
