Update Queries won't working after upgrading to 2007

After upgrading to 2007 from 2003, the update queries won't work. Gives me
message - Compile error. in table-level validation expression.

I do have a front-end and back-end database. Both are in 2007 format. The
file locations have been added to the Trusted Locations area.

However, if I import the queries to the back-end, they run and update the
tables with no errors.

Karri,

Don't know if this will help but try using the table link manager and
relinking the tables to the front end.
 
Thank you... that was a great suggestion and I did try it; however, I got the
same error message. We need to think along these lines because I can't
update any of the front-end tables using data from linked tables. I think I
will bring those databases to my local machine and see if the update queries
work there.
 
I copied the front-end and back-end to my local machine and still get the
same error. Works fine in 2003. Works in 2007, IF the tables reside in the
same database.
