System 1 - XP Pro - First system I installed the product on

No problems seen

System 2 - XP Pro

I decided to install the product on a second computer. Install went ok.

On all of my production machines I have two scheduled tasks that run
under the admin user logon. One task is a small SMTP program that sends
status messages to the office, the other is an inactivity program that shuts
down open IE windows etc. On this machine neither of these program would run
even if I did the run command by right clicking on the program in scheduled
tasks. Both programs reported 'could not start'. I have removed spyware
program and had to re-enter the password to get these running normally.

Two comments for Microsoft

1) If they would provide a new beta version that handled non-admin logons
properly I would be prepared to spend the time to test the program on all of
my production machines.

2) My inactivity program works by shutting down a frame, i.e IEFRAME, after
a period of time. Some of the frame names in the spyware product are not
unique, ie the status screen after a scan, so this is not possible if the
program should hang

Thanks for the tip which I will try next time I am at the site.

What I do not understand is why no problem on the first XP Pro machine which
also has the 2 programs running
