Update my Browser(how)

Could you please advise me on how, and if i can update my web browser. I am using Internet Explorer 6, is there a newer version out there that i can download? I am running Windows XP

IE6 is the most current major release of Internet Explorer, but there are
several security updates for it. Follow the link in my signature and run
Windows Update to make sure you have all of the latest patches applied.
