update messed me up

Did automatic updates, now I can't use the "search" icon
on the toolbar. I can search through my browser page, but
once I get a list of sites I can't hyperlink to anything!
I tried a system restore to point before updates, but it
didn't help.

Hyper links will not work
Close Internet Explorer and Outlook Express if either are
open. Start/run "regsvr32 urlmon.dll" (without the
quotes) Control panel/Internet options/programs tab,
click on "reset all web settings" Reopen and retry the
links in Internet Explorer and Outlook Express
