Hello,
I find often the use of the macro recorder extremely useful when starting to
develop some new VBA code.
It seems very wrong to me that the macro recorder in PowerPoint 2003 cannot
cope with the new facilities in this version of PowerPoint, such as the
TimeLine object.
I am now told, via the private PowerPoint News Group, that the PowerPoint
Program Manager has said that there is no intention to update the recorder!
If so this seems very bad practice to me! Here we have a Microsoft product,
PowerPoint, in which it is admitted that one part of it cannot, and never
will, work properly!
This does seem to be a very bad approach.
Can anyone tell me I am wrong?!
Cheers,
Geoff
