I have twice loaded this update and in both cases had to
uninstall it as my computer would not reboot. It would
progress to the log-in screen and then crash and start the
reboot process.

My Dell Laptop has nearly the same problem. I installed
the recommended patches, and CPU goes to 100%, mostly in
the "System" process. I can get logged in, but then it
runs REALLY slowly (35 minutes to login), CPU still going
wild.

I reimaged my machine from a Ghost image of 2 months
ago. It ran fine for 1 day so I tried the recommended
updates and WHAM! - CPU pegged again. I'm in the process
of restoring it from last months image again, and I WON'T
be installing KB853732 this time!
