Update KB832894

Update KB832894 keeps appearing and loads successfully ( so it says). However,
it still returns for updating about every three days. Even though it says that it
has updated my PC, it doesn't show in Add and Remove Programs. I have loaded
it using the automatic update function and also from the Microsoft web site which says
that the PC was successfully updated. Any help on why this is not updating would be
appreciated. I'm using WindowsXP Home Edition. Thanks, Bill.

Thanks, Patti...My problem seems to be that the update doesn't get installe
even though it says the install was successful. When I scan for the update afte
the install of KB832894, it still selects it for updating. I have installed it at leas
5 times in the last week with the message that it successfully installed but i
still doesn't show in the KB... list

Try turning of your anti virus before going to windows update, but do
keep your firewall running. I had the same problem, this approach solved it.

I looked at the Microsoft Article 319109 and also looked a
my registry and the update (KB832894) is not listed. Any othe
idea why it's saying that it has loaded successfully but in
reality it has not. I have loaded the update four or five time
with the same message saying that it was successful

Try turning of your anti virus before going to windows update, but do
