Update KB810217 keeps returning

Can anyone help
I have installed this update originally from CD.
When using the Update Site this one was still there so I
reinstalled it, about 5 times now, each time it gives me
a successfull message,removes itself from the download
list and appears on the Installation history as ok.
Still however at each scan for updates it still comes
back as an update to install.
Any clues why this is happening?

I had the same problem; this worked for me.
To resolve this behavior, follow these steps.

1. Quit all programs that are running.
2. Right-click START, and then click EXPLORE.
3. Locate the C:\Windows\System32\Catroot2 folder.
4. Right-click the Catroot2 folder, and then click Delete.
5. Click Yes to confirm the removal of this folder.
6. Quit windows Explorer
7. Install the update(s) again in the normal way.

The catroot2 folder will rebuild itself; don't worry
about deleting it..............
