Overview :
KaraFun is a full karaoke software for PC. It's based on a powerful
animation engine and contains its own editor. Even if it's supporting KAR
files (midi), it's planned to work with digital files (MP3 for example)
and it introduces the new KFN file format. Features: Player * Direct 3D
animation engine * Play KFN and KAR midi files * Playlist management *
Fullscreen or windowed display, Editor * Real-time render * KAR and KOK
file import * Support MP3, OGG, MID, KAR, S3M, MOD, IT and XM files.
What's New:
New major features
* Complete new skin, more beautiful, more intuitive and with more
functions
* New "Syncs bubble display" mode displaying incoming
synchronizations: useful to anticipate when lyrics restart after a solo
* Key and Speed Control: changes the key and the tempo of any karaoke
whichever their format (KAR, KFN, CDG...) or their audio source (MP3 or
MIDI)
* Text highlighting selectable: per blocks, line (gradually), or
defined in the KFN file
* Multi monitors management: Control the player on one screen and
display the karaoke on an other
* Vocal Reducer: try to reduce the level of vocal range on original
MP3 recordings.
* Microphone management: one of the funniest new functions! Record
yourself over your karaoke and listen your performance just right after.
You can even add echo or change pitch and tempo when replaying!
* Automatic Guide Cancel: Mute the guide when you sing into mic and
brings it back up when you stop singing. With that new feature, "you may
be able to sing afterwards!"
* Easier syncs recording in the editor thanks to the audio tempo
reduction
* Automatic detection of the guide melody in MIDI files
New minor features
* Automatic internet software updates checking
* Keyboard shortcuts are now listed in the About Box
* Guide volume can be set separately
* Cosmetic and small bugfixes
