update installation error

Security Update for Windows XP (KB840374)
Critical Update for Windows Media Player Script Commands
(KB828026)

i can't seem to install these 2 latest critical updates.
i've googled it and it seems that there are some poeple
out there haveing the same problem with these hotfixes.
but no one seems to know how to fix. it either works or
it doesn't on my other computer i installed these 2 with
no probs. i tried shutitng down firewall and norton..
still won't intall. any suggestions please...

SOLUTION:
==========
If you are using Windows XP Professional, please log in with a
Administrator equivalent account. Else please refer the KB Article # 822798
"You cannot install some updates or programs" at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;822798&Product=winxp
