I have a windows 2003 server I want to use to get updates for antispyware,
and have the client PC's on the LAN which do NOT have internet access get
their updates from this Windows 2003 server. Can I do this? I expect I
just need to tell the cliet PC's in their configuration the IP of the
windows 2003 server. On that server what do I need to do to have it serve
the updates?

Thanks for any help,

You will be able to do this with the corp. verison, which will be released
when the product is finished, This will Cost Money. For Home user there
will be no cost

Why do you want to update (or install) if your clients
are not connected to the internet? After all is spyware
not an issue with the internet.

I see your solution sort of like wearing a condom without
sexual activity.

Except that, that noone puts a dirty hand into your pants (as one can do in
the LAN).. ;P

Don't you think that internal protection is absolutelly necessary as someone
can bring in and connect an infected notebook into your LAN?

Well as pointed out, lan's are only secure until someone plugs into them,
not to mention wireless access too.

So this is a necessary precaution.
