Update form B4 run query

OK! I have a query where I have asked to look at the data
in a drop down box on the form. It works when I test the
query and key data in the pop up box - but not when I use
the data entered in the drop down box.
Do I have to do something like a got focus or requery or
something?
Please help - I'm 95% of the way to providing some very
helpful data!

Please post the SQL. Clearly you've got something a bit off, but since
you don't tell us what you're doing it's more than a bit difficult to
tell you what it might be!
