I recieved an update on a driver for the Broadxent V.92 PCI DI3631-1 and then
when I restarted, my computer kept restarting each time Windows Vista was
about to start loading. Any ideas?
From where did you receive the update? Windows Update? Now you know why
most techs (like me) tell people to *never* install drivers from Windows
Update.
1. See if you can get into Safe Mode. Do this by repeatedly tapping the
F8 key as the computer is starting up. This will get you to the right
menu. Navigate using your Up arrow key; the mouse will not work here.
Once in Safe Mode, roll back the driver to the one that worked:

If you didn't get the driver from Windows Update, either uninstall it or
do a System Restore to before you installed the troublesome driver.
2. If you can't get into Safe Mode, then boot with your Vista DVD and do
a System Restore to before you installed the driver.
