Update Field causing Syntax Error?

Hi,
Using Word 2002. I sought assistance in another post with the following
formula: { =Sum(Table1 B:B) \# "#,##0.00;- #,##0.00;''" } (Thanks to Greg
Maxey).

My problem now is (even though this formula works great) IF I don't
update the field before I print the page I get an error:

$1,111.00!Syntax Error, "

This appears to be because I have my Tools | Options | Print | Update Fields
selected. When I de-select the Update Fields option I don't get the error.

I have noticed that when I right click the formula and choose Edit Field
when I look at the formula it appears as:
=SUM(Table1B:B)
That is, no space between Table 1 and B:B. No matter how many times I put it
in, it is automatically removed. Perhaps it's supposed to?

Is this enough clues for someone to help?

Thanks

Remove the second double quote at the end of the field

{ =Sum(Table1 B:B) \# "#,##0.00;- #,##0.00;''" }

It should be

{ =Sum(Table1 B:B) \# "#,##0.00;- #,##0.00;'' }
