update drivers

I get an error when starting my computer saying :A driver
is installed that causes stability problems with your
system. This driver will be disabled. Please contact the
driver manufacturer for an update that is compatible with
this version of Windows." at the top of the window it says
Direct CD3. I tried getting help from roxio, the easy cd
creator manufacturer but did not get anywhere. Do you
know if there is an updated driver that I need with my
CD/RW drive for it to be compatible with windows XP home
edition??? I am using the easy cd creator 4 that came
with windows ME b4 I upgreaded to XP. PLEASE HELP!!!

I have the same message at start up and I have uninstalled direct cd. I don't want to use Roxio at all. I just want to get rid of that annoying error message. Is it something in the registry?
 
ya i know i figured out that the drivers installed are these ones : cdralw2k.sys and cdr4_2k.sys and are located at c:/windows/system32/drivers CAN I DELETE THOSE FILES OR ANY OTHER WAY TO GET RID OF THIS IT KEEPS RESTARTING MY PC DAMN! I DONT WANT TO USE NOTHIN MORE OF ROXIO COMPANY
