Update difficulty

When I try to update the definitions on Windows Defender Beta 2 it says that
it was unable to complete the update: 0x8024400a.

Any idea?

After,check your latest signature version & installation dates at 'review
installation history" at the windows update site.
Defender confirms sigature version on the home page and, 'help' >about
defender

Thanks! This worked for me.

I re-installed this morning with no luck.. Then tonight when I tried to go
to standby (start and turn-off), windows updates were waiting. Required
turning off the pc thru the console to install. Then got curious again and
found your note.
